414 ELITE COACHING STAFF

Phil played for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Men’s team for four years, on a national qualifying club team for four years, and was a 4 year Varsity starter in High School, graduating from Franklin High School.

​

Phil has a Bachelor of Science in Education with licenses in K-12 Physical Education, Health Education, Adaptive Physical Education and Coaching. He is currently the Health and Physical Education department head and teacher at Golda Meir High School.

Aliina played for 4 years on Bradley University's club volleyball team and Oak Creek High School's Varsity team (Second Team All-Conference). She also played club for 7 years.

Aliina works for her family's business in the wealth management department. 

Cullen played on Marian University's Men's team. 4-time varsity starting Libero. 2-time Conference Defensive Player of the Year. 3x All-Conference Player. 2019 All-American. All-Time NCAA Career Digs and Digs per Set record holder. He played club at MVC and High School Germantown HS 3 – Year Varsity Player. 2-time 1st Team All Conference Libero

Cullen is a Commercial Lines Underwriter at Acuity Insurance.

Kat played volleyball for 12 years at Northern Lights, M1 Volleyball Club, Edina High School, Loyola Chicago (2020-2023), and IUP (2023-2024). 

​

She graduated from IUP with an undergraduate degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Sports Administration. She is a Hospice Care Consultant at Moments Hospice. 

Eric was voted the Most Valuable Player in the State of Wisconsin in 1991.  He played 4 years as a middle blocker at Ball State University, a NCAA DI school in Muncie, Indiana (1993-1996).  Eric appeared in three D1 Final Fours in 1993, 1994 and 1996.  He played with North Shore Milwaukee Volleyball Club in 1992 and was coached by Jim Plaisted and Mike Fried.
 

Eric is married, with two children and lives in Elm Grove, WI.  He is currently the principal of Fairview Elementary School in Milwaukee.

Alec played Varsity all four years of high school and played for Yorktown Volleyball Club @ West Chester.

Alec was born and raised in Eastern Pennsylvania and attended West Chester University. He is an Electrician for Westphal Electric.

Kevin played 4 years as a setter at Clarke College, a NCAA DIII school at the time (1998-2001).  Appeared in two DIII Final Four tournaments.  3 year varsity player for Wauwatosa East High School as a setter (’94-’96), with a State Title in ‘96.  Earned two first team all conference and two first team all state selections ’95-’96.  Played 5 years with North Shore Milwaukee Volleyball Club (’93-’97)

Kevin is married, with three children and lives in Wauwatosa, WI.  He is currently the Pharmacy Business Manager for Froedtert Health, Inc.

Kris played competitive sand and indoor volleyball around Milwaukee and was on the golf and track teams in high school.

Kris works for Watson Health Imaging as a System Engineer on a Hemodynamics monitoring and charting medical system. He is a Veteran of the US Navy where he trained as an Electronics Technician.  His primary duties were maintenance and repair of communications and air navigation systems on two air craft carriers.
 

Jordyn played club volleyball for 7 years with three of those seasons at 414 (16 Elite, 17 Elite, and 18 Elite). She also played on the Club team at Stevens Point. Her experience as a player at 414 has given her a unique perspective as a coach, and she loves giving back to the program that helped shape her.

​

Jordyn is in her final year at the UW–Stevens Point, where she's pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. She will begin student teaching experience in Spring 2027.

Mike has 30 years of volleyball experience. He played high school volleyball at Greendale, club volleyball at Southwest and college volleyball at MATC. He has tons of accolades including but not limited to:
—8 Years of USAV experience,  6 in OPEN including 2nd and 3rd place OPEN Division finishes as an outside hitter/libero. 
—First place Open finishes in every major grass triples tournament in the tri-state area including the Iowa Fairgrounds, Chicago Luau, Wisconsin Waupaca Boatride.

Mike is happily married for 19 years and the father of two girls. Mike owns and manages residential real-estate. 

Dan played three years of high school volleyball in Downers Grove, IL, followed by four years with the Marquette University Men's Club Volleyball team. He has also competed in 19 consecutive USAV Adult National Championships and continues to play in leagues and tournaments throughout the area.

Dan graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He is married to Tricia with 3 children - Jacob, Leah and Dax.

Stasia played as an Outside/Right side hitter at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and Plainfield North High School. She played club volleyball for 6 years. She currently plays in multiple competitive adult volleyball leagues near Milwaukee.

Stasia recently graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) with a master's degree in Civil Engineering. She works at Lakeside Engineers.

Brooke played club volleyball for seven years, five of those with 414. She was a four-year Setter at Brookfield East, spending three seasons on Varsity and earning All-Conference Honorable Mention twice. Brooke was recruited as a Setter at Lakeland College but stepped away to recover from an injury.

Brooke is currently a freshman at Carroll University while working at Starbucks and doing an internship at Elmbrook Church.

Brian was a multi-sport athlete with over 20 years playing in competitive basketball leagues, over 5 years playing in competitive volleyball leagues, over 15 years of competing in triathlons. He was a football, basketball and track athlete in High School.

He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Marquette University with a Teaching Certification from UWM. He is certified to teach Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science.

He is currently a Pre-AP and AP Biology teacher at Franklin High School.

Derek has been a volleyball player for 35 years! He played 4 years of Varsity Volleyball at Nathan Hale High School as a Middle, 3 years at North Shore Milwaukee Volleyball Club, 3 years at UW-Milwaukee Men’s Volleyball as a Opposite Hitter and 2 years at MATC as a Opposite Hitter and co captain. He continues to play in various adult leagues and tournaments throughout the Wisconsin and national arena.

Marissa started playing volleyball when she was 9, club volleyball for three years, and she played 2 seasons at Alverno College while working towards her undergraduate degree in Sociology.

Marissa has her Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Alverno College and is a School Psychologist in the Cedarburg School District! 

Molly played volleyball throughout high school and also played club volleyball for three years. Instead of playing in college, she jumped into coaching at the middle school level. 

Molly graduated from UW Stevens Point with a degree in Natural Science Education with a Biology minor. She currently teaches Biomedical Science and Medical Terminology at Franklin High School. 

Anne played volleyball for UW-Lacrosse as well as Ripon High School including a State Championship and Runner Up. She also played 2 years of club volleyball.

Anne has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Physiology with a Chemistry minor from the University of Minnesota. She runs the radiation oncology research lab at the Medical College of Wisconsin studying the effects of radiation treatment on normal and cancerous tissues and has been doing this for 18 years.

Katy played volleyball, basketball and softball all four years in high school.  She played two years in college and continues to play competitive sand and indoor volleyball.

Katy has a Bachelor in Sociology from UW-Madison. She is the Operations Director for Girls on the Run of Southeastern Wisconsin.  

Chris played 4 years at Greenfield High School and 3 years at UW-Madison.

Chris has a BA Psychology and BA Social Welfare from UW-Madison and a Masters Degree in Special Education from Cardinal Stritch University. He is a 31 year Special Education Teacher currently at Tosa East. Previously 26 years at Hales Corners Elementary and 3 years in MPS. Chris is married with three kids.

Danica played club volleyball for 4 years, last one at 414! Along with club she started playing in second grade. She was a right side at Waterford Union High school for all four years earning best teammate award her last two years.

Danica is currently a sophomore at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee studying occupational therapy. She also works at Roger’s Behavior Health in Oconomowoc as a Mental Health Technician. 

Kyle played volleyball at Wauwatosa East High School, Tosa Volleyball Club and Cardinal Stritch University.

​

Graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Sociology. He owns an insurance agency and work as an independent health insurance agent in Brookfield and Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Olivia played club volleyball for eight years, including three seasons with 414. She played at Brookfield East High School for four years and continued her playing career at Miami University, where she served on the team’s executive board for two years. During her first season, her team earned a third-place finish at the national championship in their division.​

​

Olivia graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a minor in Archaeology. This summer, she will be participating in her third year of an archaeological excavation in Portugal.

Hannah is a former player who enjoys helping girls grow in their skills and confidence on and off the court!

She is a Junior at Marquette University majoring in Biomedical Sciences​

Sophie is a former player who enjoys coaching as a way to continue pursuing her passion for volleyball while helping the next generation of players grow their skills and love of the game!

​

Sophie is a Freshmen at Marquette University majoring in Biomedical Sciences. She also works part time as a CNA at Ascension and a waitress/bartender at Lou Malnatis. 

Katie played volleyball all four years of high school and played club volleyball. She also plays in sand volleyball leagues all over Milwaukee. 

​

Katie went to Marquette University and has a Bachelor of Science in Education & Broad Field Science degree. She works as a high school science teacher at West Allis Central High School.

Whitney played 5 years of club volleyball for River City and played volleyball and soccer in high school. She also continued to play in multiple co-ed and women’s volleyball leagues over the years.

Whitney graduated from UW-Whitewater with a minor in Coaching and major in Special Education. Recently left job of 10+ years at Rogers Behavioral Health and started a new career with Life Navigators as a Guardian Representative. 

Marissa was a multi-sport athlete in high school and did club gymnastics for over 10 years. Her and her husband played in competitive adult volleyball leagues around Milwaukee (before having children).

Marissa graduated from Franklin High School. She has a Master of Business degree from Alverno and a Bachelor of Business, HR Management from UW-Milwaukee. Marissa currently works as an Director, HR Business Partner at Cencora.

Carlos played for the Puerto Rico professional league 97-99, played in college for Central University (PR) and is a two time All American.
